PHILOSOPHIES
PHILOSOPHIES
I aim to be humble enough to accept that there are things about ourselves and our practices that can improve.
I would like my classroom to be structured as well as warm and welcoming. I desire that my students speak freely with other students and I, but in a manner that promotes learning and is not disruptive to the classroom. A sense of community will be prevalent in all times for if students feel safe and welcome in the classroom are more likely to engage in the learning process.
I am committed to giving students the tools they need to see their own value. Using case studies, real-life examples, and thought-provoking questions, I encourage students to consider their role and how they fit in society.
